Spring Linocut Workshop - Thurs 16th April 2026

Venue: Studio 19, Leighcliff Buildings, Leigh Cliff Road, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 1PR

An introduction to the art of linocut printmaking, no artistic experience is necessary - perfect for beginners, those wanting to refresh their skills and those who’d just like to spend a few hours screen free and creating with your hands.

I will guide you through the process of making a single colour linocut print from start to finish, exploring techniques and materials used in this traditional printing method.

You will leave the workshop with your carved lino block, a small edition of your prints, a workshop handout of further information so you can carry on yourself at home and my future support and guidance for queries you may have.

All equipment is provided, and refreshments to keep you fuelled throughout the morning. My studio is in the heart of beautiful Leigh-on-Sea - a ten minute walk from Chalkwell train station, with plenty of shops and cafes/restaurants around to make a full day trip out of it.

Accessibility - Please be aware there is unfortunately no step-free access to my studio.

Please note you must be 18+ to attend, participants 16+ are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy - If you wish to cancel your place on a workshop due to take place within the next 14 days, you will not be entitled to a refund. If you wish to cancel with more than 14 days notice, you’ll be able to reschedule your booking for a future date if available or a full refund can be given. Please note I reserve the right to cancel this workshop for any reason due to unforeseen circumstances - an alternative date will be offered or a full refund.
